Usage

Lantfly meters usage in USD as it happens. Usage is paid first from your plan's included usage, then from prepaid credit, then as pay-as-you-go. See Billing.

What is metered​

Actors in the Store can set a price per result or per event. The Store shows a badge such as $x / 1k results or Pay per event.

  • The price is fixed when the run starts. A price change applies only to later runs.
  • Some actors charge a different price depending on your plan.
  • A run never charges more than the account can still spend. Events and results past that are not counted.
  • You can cap one run's charges with its maximum total charge option.

Compute units and proxy traffic are charged on top of an actor's own price.

Social listening​

Each listening collection runs actors as the project owner's account. Those runs are billed like any other run (compute, results, events, proxy) and appear under Runs. Plan limits also apply: the number of listening projects and sources per project depends on your plan (see Billing).

The Usage page​

Open Usage (https://lantfly.com/usage) in Billing & usage:

  • Period: Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days, Last 180 days or Last 365 days.
  • Spend per day, with the total for the period.
  • By metric: quantity and amount for each metric above.
  • By actor: runs and amount per actor.

Billing → This period shows the current month: used of included, From credit, Pay-as-you-go so far and Available to spend. Usage by period lists past months.

Amounts under one cent are shown with four decimals instead of $0.00.

Usage alerts​

You are notified (bell and email by default) when credit runs low, when it runs out, and when usage is unusually high. Set the channels in Notifications. To stop usage at a fixed amount, set a spending limit.

days defaults to 30, up to 366. For usage per billing period use GET /api/v3/billing/periods. In an organization, both need the billing.view permission. See the API reference.
