Platform overview
The Lantfly platform runs actors for you: packaged scrapers and automations that you start from the Console, the API, a schedule or an AI app. Each run gets its own storage, a live log and a usage record, and Lantfly can call you when it ends.
How a run works
- You start a run of an actor with an input: from the Console,
POST /api/v3/actors/:actor/runs, a task, a schedule, an integration or MCP. - Lantfly checks it can run: the input matches the actor's input schema, your account has usage left, the number of runs waiting or running is within your plan, and the account owner's email is verified.
- The run gets its storage: a default dataset, key-value store and request queue, plus a run token.
- The actor runs in its own container. It reads its input, pushes items to the dataset, writes records and, if needed, connects through the proxy. You follow it in the log.
- The run finishes as
SUCCEEDED,FAILED,TIMED-OUTorABORTED. Lantfly records its usage, fires webhooks, checks monitors and sends notifications.
