Profile and preferences
Your profile belongs to you as a person, not to the account you are working in. If you switch to an organization, Account settings still shows and edits your own profile.
Open it from the user menu (top right) → Account settings, or go to https://lantfly.com/profile. The settings tabs
are Account, Login & privacy, API & integrations, Organizations (called Team while you work in an
organization), Notifications and Referrals.
Username
Your username is the address of your public profile: https://lantfly.com/u/<username>.
| Rule | Value |
|---|---|
| Characters | Lowercase letters, digits, . and -; must start with a letter |
| Length | 3 to 30 characters |
| Uniqueness | Must not be taken; some names (for example lantfly, admin, api, u followed by digits) are reserved |
Changing your username does not rename your actors. Actor IDs keep the u<your id>~name form, so API calls that use
an actor slug keep working.
Profile
| Field | Limits |
|---|---|
| Picture | PNG, JPEG or WebP, up to 1 MB, 32 to 4000 px. SVG is not accepted. Use Upload new image or Remove picture |
| First name, Last name | Shown as your name across Lantfly |
| Bio | Up to 200 characters |
| README | Markdown, up to 2000 characters, with a preview |
| Links | Website, GitHub, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Discord user ID |
| Make profile publicly visible | Needs a username. Removing the username turns the public page off |
| Show my contact email | Shows your email on the public page |
Once the profile is public, use View your public profile to open it. Anyone can see it without signing in. While it is private, the address returns Not found.
Language
Lantfly is available in English and Tiếng Việt.
- Click the language button (translate icon) in the top bar.
- Pick English or Tiếng Việt.
The choice is saved with your account, so it follows you to other browsers and devices. Emails and notifications sent to you use the same language, and so do API error messages for requests sent from the dashboard.
Legal pages (terms, privacy, refund policy) are binding in English. Some notification texts and invitation emails to addresses without a Lantfly account may still be in English.
API clients can ask for a language per request with the Accept-Language header (en or vi). Without it, the API
uses the language saved on your account.
Theme
Under Account → Theme, choose Sync with system, Light theme or Dark theme. You can also switch it from the user menu. The theme is saved with your account, so another device opens with the same look.
Do it with the API
| Endpoint | What it does |
|---|---|
GET /api/v3/me/profile, PATCH /api/v3/me/profile | Read or update username, names, bio, README, links, is_public, show_email |
POST /api/v3/me/avatar (multipart field avatar), DELETE /api/v3/me/avatar | Upload or remove your picture |
PUT /api/v3/me/preferences | Save locale (en, vi) and/or theme (light, dark, system) |
curl -X PUT https://lantfly.com/api/v3/me/preferences \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $LANTFLY_TOKEN" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"locale": "vi"}'
These endpoints answer 403 to an organization API token: an organization token never reaches the personal
settings of the member who created it. Use a token of your personal account. See API tokens.
Terms of service updates
When the terms of service or privacy policy change, the dashboard asks you to accept the new version before you continue. You can accept or sign out. Scripts and integrations that use API tokens are not blocked.
Delete your account
Account → Danger zone → Delete account. You need your password, your two-factor code (if two-factor sign-in is on) and you must type your email to confirm.
Deletion is refused while:
| Blocker | What to do |
|---|---|
| You own an organization | Transfer ownership or delete the organization first (Organizations) |
| A subscription is still live | Cancel it on Billing and wait for the period to end (Billing) |
| Prepaid credit is left on the account | Use it up, or ask support about a refund |
| A payout request is open | Wait for it to finish (Referrals and earnings) |
| Runs are still running | Wait for them to finish or abort them |
You can only delete your account from your own dashboard session, with your personal account selected (not an organization) — the page says Switch to your own account to delete it otherwise. API tokens cannot delete an account.
Deletion cannot be undone. Sign-in stops at once, your automations are turned off, you leave every team, all your tokens are revoked, and your actors, runs, storages and profile are then removed.
